Voting in the Australian Federal Elections

The absentee ballot: How to register and make your vote fromVoting in the Australian Federal Elections.

Australian citizens living overseas in Singapore are eligible to vote by absentee ballot in the Federal Election.

The Australian Electoral Commission has comprehensive information on eligibility and forms required by Australian voters overseas. Enrolled addresses and other election-related information can be checked online.

Enrolling as an Overseas Elector

An Australian already registered as an elector in Australia who left less than three years ago and intends to return within six years, can register as an overseas elector.
