After successfully passing the BTT the applicant receives a Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) which is required before taking driving lessons on the road. 1. The Basic Driving Theory TestThe BTT can be applied for and taken at one of the three official test centres. The following paperwork is required on application:
The test is multiple-choice. Results are issued immediately following the test. Results are not given over the telephone. Get a Provisional Driving LicenceHaving passed the BTT, a Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) will be issued. Application for a PDL can be made at any of the test centres. The PDL allows the learner driver to take driving lessons on the road but only if accompanied by a certified driving instructor. The following paperwork is required for a PDL:

2. Final Driving Theory TestThe Final Driving Theory Test can be booked and taken at an official test centre. 3. Practical Driving TestThe Practical Driving Test must be passed within two years of passing the Final Driving Theory Test. To apply, produce the following documents at the driving centre:
If the learner successfully passes the practical test, they will be issued with a driving licence and enter a one year probationary period. Class 2B Riding LicenceIn order to obtain the Class 2B Riding Licence, both the Motorcycle Riding Theory Test and the Practical Riding Test must be passed. Lost or Stolen Driving LicenceA lost or damaged Singapore driver's licence can be replaced by applying to the Traffic Police Headquarters. There is a fee.
To Change Address on a Driving LicencePermanent Residents (PRs) and Singapore citizens can change their address details at the police station. FIN pass holders (those on Employment Passes and Dependent's Passes) should register the change of address at the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA). After doing so, contact the Singapore Traffic Police who will draw the information from the ICA databank and issue a new licence. Singapore Driving Centres
