I was really disappointed that the Oscars was not shown on free TV. No nothing at all! I hope they won't do it with the Olympics. That would really be a bummer!

Yes I was quite disappointed with that as well. I remember watching it on Star World last year so I was really confident that they'd air it again this year.

I searched the channels and eventually found it on Fox Movies..shame that it wasn't more available..but have to say it was a dull affair. Billy Crystal was unfunny, and after a while the whole lovey fest wore me out! (apart from Colin Firth who was (as ever) a gentleman) and George Clooney was divine!

I absolutely agree with you that Colin Firth is a gentleman...The first time I set my eyes on him in Bridget Jones Diary I knew he is special.
