What do you think of Avondale Grammar School? Do you have any experience with it? Hope you can shed light about it? We were referred to this school because the international school we were eyeing has a very long waiting list. Thanks.

The fact that none of my friends' kids go to that school should tell you that it's not quite famous among the expats.

From my knowledge there seems to be a few people who send there kids to this school as a wait list for some of the other schools. I haven't heard anything bad about it and I do know someone who sends there kid there and seems quite happy, but it is certainly not one of the most popular schools. In saying that it depends, as it is a smaller school it might suit certain children. Some of the more popular school are very large and can be too much for more reserved kids. I don't think it offers an IB program.
