Hi, I have just moved to Singapore a week ago. I have two small children of 3 and 5 and pregnant and looking for people in the same boat who fancy meeting for a coffee and a chat and know of things to do with the children and things that are happening around the area. Welcome to Singapore! There many things you can do with kids in Singapore but I think first of all you should find a live in helper. You can go to Go Go Bambini in Dempsey road. Nice indoors playground. You can have a coffee when your kids are playing or a manicure. Dempsey hill is an expats paradise. Many nice restaurants, great atmosphere. My most fave are PS cafe, Margaritas (Mexican food) and Forketta (Italian rest for pizzas and great pasta with lobster and focaccia bread). Tanglin mall and Forum Galleria have lots of stores with clothing, shoes, toys, early learning center and more. The zoo is a must for kids too. This time of he year most expats are on holidays or about to go (like me) but if you need any tips (from doctors to where you can find something) just let me know.
