Applying for PR

tasha writes in Financial & Legal

Does anybody know how we can easily get approval for Permanent Residency? We'll be staying here for quite a long time and we're also thinking of applying with the kids. Is that a better decision to include the kids? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Always an idea to apply for PR if you see yourselves as long term stayers. However the process once applications are in is currently taking over 9 months for approval or not. Including your children will be an advantage as the government want more young people, however do note that this could mean if you have a son he will have to do national service if he remains in Singapore at the age of 18 and if he doesnt and decides to come back to Singapore later in his life, it can be an issue if he was PR and then didnt do national service.

My friend applied for PR and was rejected three times. They are more strict now so good luck with your application.
