Love is like a red, red rose...

There are various theories as to the origin of this day, many of them look to Roman pagan festivals, but the tradition of exchanging messages in cards goes back over 150 years.

now for many, it's an opportunity to express affection and appreciation
to family and friends too – not just a romantic partner.
