Paperwork and Passports
A country's consular office can give advice and assistance with administrative matters related to passports and their renewal, provide certificates needed for marriage, and offer guidance with the translation and endorsement of official documents required for some administrative actions. The birth of a baby born to expatriate nationals can be registered with a parent's consular office, and help is available in the event of the death of a national and the repatriation of their remains.
